Dog feels or hears earthquake seconds before it happens, caught on camera. International Red Cross spokesman Paul Conneally said an estimated 3 million people may have been affected by the quake and that it would take a day or two for a clear picture of the damage to emerge. Aftershocks rattled the city of 2 million people as women covered in dust clawed out of debris, wailing. Stunned people wandered the streets holding hands. Thousands gathered in public squares singing hymns. People pulled bodies from collapsed homes, covering them with sheets by the side of the road. Passersby lifted the sheets to see if a loved one was underneath. Outside a crumbled building the bodies of five children and three adults lay in a pile. The United States and other nations began organizing aid efforts, alerting search teams and gathering supplies that will be badly needed in the Western Hemisphere’s poorest country. Watchman Warning: Spheres Of Power Part 1 Watchman Warning: Spheres Of Power Part 2 WASHINGTON (AP) – The Environmental Protection Agency has concluded greenhouse gases are endangering people’s health and must be regulated, signaling that the Obama administration is prepared to contain global warming without congressional action if necessary. FYI, they just made the rule that says Carbon Dioxide is a “dangerous pollutant”. So get ready to stop breathing and never mind the plants happen to love carbon dioxide. Ali Akbar Salehi, the head of Iran’s Atomic Energy Organization and previously Iran’s representative in the International Atomic Energy Agency, said on Saturday that Iran needs to establish 20 additional uranium enrichment sites to fuel the country’s nuclear reactors, Israel Radio reported. A South African human rights panel last week condemned a local trade union leader for calling to exile Jewish compatriots who support Israel, in a ruling which defined his statements as "hate speech." The union had no comment on the case. The South African Human Rights Commission said statements made publicly by Bongani Masuku, international relations spokesperson for the Congress of South African Trade Unions "implied that the Jewish and Israeli communities are to be despised, scorned and ridiculed," thus "subjecting them to ill-treatment on the basis of their religious affiliation." The fight over global warming science is about to cross the Atlantic with a U.S. researcher poised to sue NASA, demanding release of the same kind of climate data that has landed a leading British center in hot water over charges it skewed its data. Chris Horner, a senior fellow at the Competitive Enterprise Institute, said NASA has refused for two years to provide information under the Freedom of Information Act that would show how the agency has shaped its climate data and would explain why the agency has repeatedly had to correct its data going as far back as the 1930s. "I assume that what is there is highly damaging," Mr. Horner said. "These guys are quite clearly bound and determined not to reveal their internal discussions about this."
