Nasrallah: We’ll never recognize Israel

The leader of Lebanon’s Hizbullah vowed on Friday that his Shiite terror group will never recognize Israel and that no Arab state has the right to do so either.

Hassan Nasrallah spoke in a televised address to ceremonies marking Quds Day, an annual occasion created by Hizbullah’s ally Iran to show support for the Palestinians. Quds is Arabic for Jerusalem.

FBI: Saddam told us he lied about having nukes to deter Iran

Car bomb in Iraq kills at least 27

A car bomb exploded in a crowded outdoor market in Kirkuk, Iraq on Tuesday, killing at least 27 people, police said, a deadly reminder of the challenges facing the Iraqi government even as it celebrated the withdrawal of US combat troops from cities.
The attack stained what had otherwise been a festive day as Iraqis commemorated the newly declared National Sovereignty Day with military parades and marching bands. It also came hours after four US soldiers were killed in combat Monday in Baghdad. Although there were no immediate claims of responsibility, the bombing and the way it was carried out bore the hallmarks of al-Qaida in Iraq.

62 people killed in Baghdad blast

BAGHDAD, Iraq (CNN) — At least 62 people were killed and 150 wounded Wednesday when a bomb ripped through an outdoor market area in eastern Baghdad, an Interior Ministry official said.

KABUL — A rare rocket attack on the main U.S. base in Afghanistan early Sunday killed two U.S. troops and wounded six other Americans, including two civilians, officials said.

Bagram Air Base, which lies 25 miles northeast of Kabul, is surrounded by high mountains and long stretches of desert from which militants could fire rockets. But such attacks, particularly lethal ones, are relatively rare.

Warning Shocking video: Iranian woman killed in protests

In what to me was a very shocking video, this Iranian woman protester was gun down.

From the YouTube video:

A young woman who was standing aside with her father watching the protests was shot by a basij member hiding on the rooftop of a civilian house. He had clear shot at the girl and could not miss her. However, he aimed straight her heart. I am a doctor, so I rushed to try to save her. But the impact of the gunshot was so fierce that the bullet had blasted inside the victim’s chest, and she died in less than 2 minutes.

The protests were going on about 1 kilometers away in the main street and some of the protesting crowd were running from tear gas used among them, towards Salehi St.

WARNING this video is disturbing. The only reason I even wanted to share this news is because it’s one of the very few videos making it out of Iran right now. Iran protests are becoming very violent these past days with the government stepping in and trying to stop the protests.
