Hello Betty,

Salvation is a decision to accept a gift from God. We are born with the sin nature in our physical bodies. Therefore, to some degree at least we will continue to sin while we are on the earth. The justice of God the Father demands the death penalty for sin. Jesus Christ paid that death penalty for the human race and purchased us a pardon for our sins so that we may be presented as righteous before God the Father. It is our faith that counts. Our sins are forgotten. Even the ones that we have not yet committed. This is Grace. It is a gift that we do not earn or deserve. It is difficult to understand eternal security without understanding the concept of grace.

“For God (the Father) loved the world so much that he gave his uniquely born Son so that whoever believes in Him shall never perish but have everlasting life. John 3:16

The failure of the churches over time to teach the truth of the Bible has cause the world to be in the sad condition that its in today. We have failed to preach the true Gospel and failed to teach the biblical doctrines that allow us to grow in our spiritual lives.

Thank you for visiting GJCN.
