In Iraq, Abbas urges Israel to accept two-state solution

BAGHDAD – Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas, in his first trip to Iraq, called on Israel’s new government yesterday to recognize the two-state solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and to stop building settlements.
