I’d have to say they are on high alert after shooting down their own plane, and then having Iran’s Revolutionary Guards test the alertness with drones that happened to crash into the dome of the Russian-built reactor.
It’s almost comical if not so serious. Iran’s own military might end up destroying this reactor before the US or Israel ever get a chance at it. Maybe that’s what Israel is waiting to see if Iran’s own actions will bring it down before they have take care of it.
No one believes better than Iran that Israel or the US with Israel will pull off an attack. I just think it’s funny that they are worried about planes when most likely it’d be a low flying tomahawk missile coming in low and fast out of no where that takes it out.
Seeing how the Russians stole a bunch of flawed nuke reactor plans from the Reagan admin, I’m not quite sure I’d invest in “Russian designed” reactors. You know, the Russians are just not known for building top end high reliability kind of hardware.
Seeing how the TOR-M1 which is designed to intercept planes or missiles coming in at medium or very low altitudes with a no-fly zone of 20 kilometers, the plane that was shot down was a F4 Phantom at 6 kilometers away from the reactor. Makes one wonder how useful that air defense system would be to some serious hardware coming in low and fast would really be. How well will it handle a multi target attack? They might be a little upset when they find out a variant of the the F-22 was built just for this kind of job. Never mind cruse missile attack. Israel has both of these weapons in their disposal.
If I was head of the Iran military, I think I would be on edge too.
